Old Buildings, New Life.

We preserve the past to celebrate the future.

Old Buildings LLC is on a mission to preserve and celebrate Fayetteville’s unique charm by revitalizing old buildings so these sites can once again benefit our amazing community. We own and manage several commercial and residential properties in town - The Leroy Lounge, The Dickson, The Monterey, Modern1540 Apartments, and the former historic St. Joseph Church, just to name a few.

We are a small, tight-knit team that’s big on having a positive impact. Fayetteville is our home, and we are proud to play an active role in its growth and development.

Why old buildings?

Restoring old buildings isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes time, patience, and yes, sometimes a few surprises behind the walls. Budgets can stretch, timelines can shift, and the unexpected becomes expected. But for us, that’s all part of the journey.

We believe there’s something deeply meaningful about breathing new life into a space that holds decades—sometimes centuries—of stories. These buildings are woven into the fabric of our communities; saving them means preserving a piece of Fayetteville’s dynamic, shared history.

While it’s not the easiest path, it is the one that matters.

And when the dust settles and the light hits just right on that restored brick or reclaimed wood, we’re reminded exactly why we do what we do.

Old buildings are not ours. They belong, partly to those who built them, and partly to the generations of mankind who are to follow us. The dead still have their right in them: That which they labored for . . . we have no right to obliterate.
— John Ruskin
